What Is an Affiliate Arrangement?

An affiliate arrangement is a commercial agreement in which Gambler's Atlas earns a fee when you take a qualifying action after clicking a tracked link. The fee is paid by the business receiving the traffic, not by you: the price you pay, if any, is identical whether or not you arrive via an affiliate link.

Casino Partner Links (CPC)

Some casino profiles on Gambler's Atlas display a Gambler's Atlas Partnerbadge. When you click an outbound link on a partner profile such as “Visit Official Website,” “Book a Room,” or a link to a partner's sportsbook or dining page, your click is routed through our tracking system (/go/[slug]) before forwarding you to the destination. If that casino is a paying partner, they pay Gambler's Atlas a cost-per-click (CPC) fee.

CPC rates are negotiated individually with each partner and vary by click category. We track the following click types separately, each of which may carry a different rate: casino website, hotel booking, slot floor, table games, poker room, sportsbook, dining, entertainment, site discovery, and promotions. Not all categories are active for every partner.

Tracked links always forward you to the casino's actual official website or the specific destination indicated. We do not redirect you to a competitor's site or alter the destination based on commercial relationships.

Partner Provided Affiliate URLs

Partners may set custom destination URLs for each click category through their portal, which may be the casino's own affiliate or tracking links. When a custom URL is set, clicks in that category forward there rather than to a default URL. In every case the destination is the partner's own property or an affiliated service, never a competitor, and custom URLs do not affect how listings are ranked or presented.

How This Affects Our Content

Partner status and commercial relationships do not influence which casinos we list, our ratings, or the accuracy of what we display. Ratings come from user reviews and nothing else. Listings are based on publicly available data and are editorially independent, and we apply the same data-quality standards to partner and non-partner listings alike. Non-partner casinos are listed in full and are never hidden for not paying.

Order is the exception, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. In our default browse order, casinos appear in tiers: Sponsored first, then Featured, then Partner, then everyone else. Those tiers are shown as visible headings on the page, so you can always see which casinos are in a commercial tier and which are not. Search results likewise put featured casinos first.

You can turn this off at any time: sorting by name, rating, or recently updated ignores the tiers completely and ranks every casino, partner or not, on that criterion alone. Sponsored and Featured cards also carry a label saying so wherever they appear.
